Michael Longley Joins Oranmore Precast as Beam and Block Business Development Manager
Oranmore Precast Ltd is pleased to announce that Michael Longley, the former Managing Director of Longley Concrete, has recently taken on the role of Beam and Block Business Development Manager. With a rich family legacy and an extensive background in the concrete industry, Michael Longley’s arrival at Oranmore Precast is set to bring a new wave of expertise and product development to the company.
Michael Longley’s decision to join Oranmore Precast as the Beam and Block Business Development Manager marks an exciting chapter in both his career and the company’s history. Michael is charged with building the Beam and Block division, a new enterprise for Oranmore Precast, which has previously specialised in Holloware and wet-cast products. With Michael’s family legacy in the beam and block concrete industry he brings a wealth of expertise and innovation to his new role.
Longley Concrete achieved success and sustained growth, eventually becoming one of the largest suppliers of T-beam flooring suppliers in the UK – reinforcing its reputation as a leader in the industry, before being sold to Ibstock PLC in July 2019.

Oranmore Precast is a prominent player in the UK precast concrete market, offering a wide range of precast products including Hollowcore, stairs, landings and bespoke wet cast products. They work with most major developers and contractors on large scale and bespoke projects and are a specialist in providing concrete structures for high rise buildings.
With hollowcore capacity of 10,000sq.m per week across two factories, Oranmore is one of the largest suppliers in the UK. Oranmore’s factories are strategically located for efficient nationwide deliveries, reducing carbon footprint and helping to facilitate sustainability.
