Oranmore Precast is pleased to introduce its dedicated beam and block flooring division.

The team is headed up by Beam and Block Business Development Manager Michael Longley, who brings a wealth of industry experience, including as Owner/Managing Director at Longley Concrete. Michael is joined by Mark Hellewell and David Sullivan, seasoned Commercial Managers with many years of experience working in the precast concrete industry, and specifically within beam and block flooring.

Oranmore Precast is one of the UK’s leading providers of precast concrete, specialising in Hollowcore, precast stairs and lift shafts. They work with many high-profile contractors to design and deliver innovative bespoke precast concrete projects such as solutions for high-rise buildings and the penitentiary sector.

The Expert Team

Working alongside Michael Longley are Mark Hellewell and David Sullivan as Commercial Managers. Their backgrounds in the precast concrete industry will play a crucial role in shaping the future of the division and solidifying Oranmore Precast’s position as a leader in the beam and block flooring sector.

With a background in commercial management and a qualified Quantity Surveyor, David has extensive expertise in designing flooring solutions for large-scale construction projects such as care homes and housing developments.

Mark’s commitment to excellence and his proven track record of successful project management combined with his extensive network and experience of working with Builders Merchants will be invaluable in growing the beam and block division.

Oranmore’s Precast Concrete Beams

Oranmore’s beam and block flooring division offer a core range of three precast concrete beams, each designed to provide exceptional structural support. The beams are manufactured at the company’s Lound facility. Manufacturing capacity at the Lound site alone is over 2000 tonnes per week.

Beam profiles:

• 155mm Standard Beam – Designed for spans of up to 6000mm, this beam provides 30 minutes of fire resistance, making it ideal for various applications.
• 155mm Wide Beam – With a span capacity of up to 7000mm, this wide beam offers an impressive 60 minutes of fire resistance, ensuring safety and compliance in commercial and residential structures.
• 225mm Standard Beam – Offering a 60-minute fire resistance rating and a span capacity of up to 7000mm, this beam is another excellent choice for larger projects.
