Oranmore Precast, the precast concrete specialist with manufacturing facilities in Brandon and Lound, has commenced the supply and installation of its 155m beams for an impressive new care home facility on the former Stoney Ridge Hospital site in Bingley, West Yorkshire.

The 72-bedroom development will provide residential accommodation as well as nursing and comprehensive care for individuals living with dementia. Amenities at the development include a lounge, Café, activity and skills lounges as well as a hair salon.

As well providing beam and block flooring for the care home, Oranmore will supply and install precast concrete staircases.

Integral to the decision to work with Oranmore Precast was their 155m wide beam for the upper floor. This specialist beam is designed to meet stringent fire safety standards, offering an impressive 60-minute fire resistance rating.
